Hello, I’m Sara.

Born and raised on the New Hampshire seacoast, I have been painting since I was 13 years old and the natural world has always inspired me. Since graduating with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, I have created a career full of fine and commercial art. I have exhibited my original art in over 25 solo and group shows around the world over the past 20 years.

These days, I mainly specialize in commercial illustration and print design, working with clients globally from my sunny studio in Portsmouth, NH.

My days are packed with an array of projects and artistic challenges, from wine package design and children’s book and toy illustration to conceptualizing maps for farms and travel companies. I care deeply for my clients and I am proud of the work I create for their projects and businesses.

Clever and whimsical are words often associated with my work, and that spills out into life with my husband Jonny and our two littles. Our home has music, art and dance at the core. Everyday I love to witness the play, curiosity and wonder of our children.
